Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of AI Book. By creating an account or reading our published volumes you agree to them.
Your account
You can sign up with an email address and password or with Google, GitHub, or LinkedIn. You're responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for any activity that happens under your account. If you think your account has been compromised, sign out of all devices from the settings page and email us.
Our content
The text, illustrations, code, and interactive visualisations published on AI Book are copyrighted to their respective authors. You're welcome to read, save notes, and reference short excerpts. You may not republish whole chapters, train language models on the corpus, or scrape the site at scale.
Code listings shown inside the books are licensed under MIT unless a different licence is stated alongside the listing. You can copy them into your own projects freely.
Acceptable use
- Don't attempt to bypass the authentication or paywall mechanisms.
- Don't share your account with others. One account is for one reader.
- Don't use the site to host or transmit malware, harassment, or illegal content.
Comments and notes
Notes you save are private to your account. Comments you post are visible to other readers of the same page, and you are responsible for what you post. We may remove comments that break these terms.
Payments
Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a monthly or yearly cycle and renew automatically until you cancel. We never see or store your card number.
Refunds and cancellations
Paid plans can be cancelled at any time. You keep access until the end of the billing period you've already paid for. Your first paid charge is refundable in full on request within 14 days of that charge — email us. Renewal charges are not refundable.
Liability
AI Book is provided "as is." We work hard to keep the content accurate and the site available, but we can't guarantee either. Code examples are educational — review them before running them in production.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes will be announced on the dashboard.
